Awards Banquet Information (May 20, 2024 7:00 pm-11:00 pm) At TPHA, we truly value our members and the service they provide to our organization. We have a long history of recognizing outstanding leadership and service within our membership, beginning with the very first TPHA Annual Meeting back in 1923, where the grand prize winner assumed the Presidency of the organization! We don't do THAT anymore, but every year, at our awards ceremony, we honor members who have provided outstanding service not only specifically to this organization, but to the practice of public health in general. This year is particularly special because we are celebrating our 100th birthday as an organization, and our awardees will go down in history as having received awards during this monumental year. Also, this year is unique because, instead of having an awards luncheon on the last day of our conference, we will be having an evening gala, complete with red carpet, full buffet, awards, photobooth, music and dancing! This special event is included with your full registration. So, pack your best after-five attire and join us for this special evening!
Conference Registration Fee Cancellation/Refund Information: All conference registration cancellations must be made in writing before April 30th. All cancellations are subject to a $75 administrative fee. Once cancellation correspondence has been received, participants will receive a cancellation notice. If payment has been processed for the registration, a refund will be issued minus the $75 administrative fee. If payment has not been received, accounting will send an updated invoice for the $75 administrative fee. Texas Public Health Association (TPHA) reserves the right to retain or collect conference fees in full for those who fail to cancel prior to April 30th, or for those who fail to attend. The hotel accepts all major credit cards as a guarantee. Guests may cancel individual reservations up to 72 hours prior to arrival without penalty to the individual. Cancellations received outside of 72 hours of arrival will forfeit first night room and tax deposit. All guests will be required to provide a credit card upon check-in. Both Hotels will make the best effort to accommodate the requests for check-in prior to check-in time or late departures, based upon availability. The bell desk can store luggage for early arrivals and/or for late departures. For late check-out, a fee may apply depending on availability and length of extension. Exhibitor Registration Fees
All interested parties must submit an application to exhibit. Please note that submission does not guarantee acceptance. TPHA reserves the exclusive right to select vendors based on our criteria and event needs. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance status. Upon acceptance, the exhibitor is required to pay the designated fees either via check or electronic fund transfer (ACH) by no later than May15th. Please be aware that credit cards are NOT accepted for exhibitor fees. Exhibitors may cancel their registration before April 30th to receive a 50% refund of their registration fees.
